Shaken Not Stirred: Shaking Up Teambuilding
Gone are the days of boring teambuilding activities that everyone, yes everyone, dreads. Here we are counting down our top 5 favorite team building activities that fall outside the norm (and won’t have attendees running for the hills).
Goat Yoga
Yes, you can do a downward dog, but can you do it with a goat climbing on your back? Enjoy a good stretch and a good laugh with this unique and active activity. And it makes for some great pictures.
Build Your Own Guitar
A fan favorite, this teambuilding activity allows guests to build guitars using kits that will go to young people in need. Yes – real guitars! Featuring iPads with clues and games, this is truly a team effort that inspires.
The Great Food Truck Race
A top chef inspired “restaurant war”, where guests develop a business concept, branding, and menu to compete for Austin’s next best food truck. We doubt we’ll be seeing any of these popping up downtown anytime soon, but this activity guarantees some good laughs and unique teambuilding opportunities.
Corporate Rockstars
Calling all former choir singers and band members, now is your time to shine! Teams rewrite songs, rehearse, and perform for their guests with a live band. If singing and playing an instrument isn’t someone’s vibe, there’s always the need for back-up dancers. And at the very least, watching team members try to sing and dance is priceless.
BBQ and Brew
Teams will create their own rub, do a blind beer tasting competition with Austin brews, and compete in the ultimate “BBQ & Brew” game show. Think Guy Fieri meets Chopped meets your local brewery. What could go wrong?
